Adam Levy Takes the Chip Lead

Adam "Roothlus" Levy
Adam "Roothlus" Levy

Before we arrived at the table, Fabien Dunlop and Adam Levy put in five bets before the flop, Dunlop opening, Levy three-betting from the button, Dunlop four-betting, and Levy coming back over the top. The flop came down {10-Hearts}{9-Spades}{2-Diamonds} and Dunlop checked to Levy, who bet 80,000. Dunlop shoved and Levy snap-called.

Dunlop {A-Spades}{2-Spades}
Levy {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}

Dunlop could win only with another deuce or running spades. The turn, however, was the {6-Clubs} and the river the {3-Diamonds}, decimating Dunlop's stack and giving Levy a massive double-up to 820,000 in chips. After starting the day with over 328,000, Dunlop is down to 95,000.

By our estimate, Levy is now the overall chip leader as we head into the first break of the day.
