Negreanu Gets Big Double Up

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

We came to the table with the flop showing {9-Hearts}{8-Spades}{7-Clubs}. Negreanu had put in a raise to 2700 after his opponent bet 700. His opponent counted out a big raise, and Negreanu shipped in his stack before the chips even hit the felt. His opponent called, and the hands were flipped up in what was the biggest pot of the table.

Negreanu: {10-Spades}{10-Diamonds}
Opponent: {9-Spades}{6-Spades}

Negreanu had the overpair but had to fade several outs. His opponent added even more outs when the {3-Spades} came on the turn. Needing to dodge a five, nine, or spade, the river came the {k-Hearts}, and Negreanu survived the all in to double to about 30,000, leaving is opponent with around 10,000.

All In Doubles Through Nguyen

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Kenny Nguyen just lost a big pot at his table. Jonathan Duhamel raised from the cutoff to 450 and Nguyen re-raised to 1,625 from the button. The player in the small blind pushed all in for a little over 4,000 and Duhamel got out of the way while Nguyen called.

Nguyen: {a-Clubs}{q-Clubs}
Small Blind: {q-Spades}{j-Spades}

Nguyen was way ahead until the flop came {j-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}{5-Hearts} to put the other player into the lead with a pair of jacks. The turn and river brought the {9-Diamonds} and {3-Spades} and Nguyen was left with 3,100 in chips.

Bubble Time!

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

It's now heads up on several of the tables. Marc Inzian, Tristan Clemecon and Soren Kongsgaard are all attempting to make it into the money.

Jonathan Duhamel, meanwhile, has been crippled. With four players left he was all in with {Q-Spades}{Q-Clubs} against {A-Clubs}{A-Spades} and {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} - the bullets scooped on an {8-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{10-Spades}{7-Spades}{J-Diamonds} board. Duhamel left with just a few hundred chips.

Boeken Takes Nice Pot

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Noah Boeken has had a slow day so far, as his stack slowly got grinded down while other players busted. However, Boeken has chipped up nicely while three handed, and just took a big pot off the big stack at the table. With the board showing {9-Clubs}{k-Spades}{7-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}, Boeken called a bet of 1450, and the two players took a river of {j-Spades}. It was checked to Boeken, who assembled a bet of 2800. He was called, and showed {9-Hearts}{9-Spades} for a full boat. His opponent mucked, and Boeken is closing the gap three handed.

Rheem Pulls Nice Bluff

Level 4 : 100/200, 0 ante

Chino Rheem has been known to pull a bluff or two in his time, and he just made another one a few minutes ago. With the board reading {k-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}, and around 2,000 in the pot, the action was checked to Rheem, who moved all in for 3,125. His opponent tanked for a few minutes before open folding {a-Spades}{a-Clubs}. Always proud to show a bluff, Rheem showed {7-Diamonds}{3-Diamonds} for one pair and a missed flush draw and said "In yo face!" Rheem collected the chips and is up to around 7,000.
