Three Eights are Good

After betting on the button, Robert Ferdinand faced a raise from the small blind from none other than Jeff Shulman. Ferdinand made the call and got to see a flop of {8-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {2-Hearts}. Shulman bet out and Ferdinand made the call.

Both players got to see the {10-Clubs} on the turn, where Schulman bet out again only to be raised by the Ferdinand. Shulman called.

Sensing some strength from his opponent for the first time in the hand Schulman slowed down and checked. Ferdinand put out another bet and was called. Ferdinand showed the table {8d) {8-Spades} and Schulman gave the table a lesson on how to muck properly.
