David Sklansky Calls Down

Level 5 : 100/200, 0 ante

David Sklansky found himself in a three way pot, first to act. The flop was {9-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{a-Clubs} and he checked, as did the second player to act. The third player fired out 400 which Sklansky called. The third player got out of the way and the {6-Hearts} was the turn for the two remaining players. Sklansky check-called again, this time for 800 and the {8-Clubs} hit the river. Sklansky checked a third time and his opponent bet out 1,500. Sklansky called and had rivered aces up with {a-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}. He didn't need the eight though as his opponent had just {a-Spades}{4-Spades}, but he'll take it anyway. After winning that pot, he chipped up to 6,800.
