Daniel Negreanu raised on the button and Steve Landfish three-bet from the small blind. Negreanu made the call and then proceeded to call bets from Landfish on every street as the board ran out .
Landfish rolled for queens and tens, and Negreanu wasn't happy. He shot up, tipping his chair on the ground, and slammed his Beats headphones on the ground. Pieces from the headphones flew as the tournament floor grew eerily quiet. It was clear Negreanu was extremely frustrated. Regardless, Negreanu remained silent as he picked up his chair and rejoined the game.
A few hands later Negreanu lost another pot to Landfish and dropped to just 27,000.
It took us a while to figure out but it turns out that Dan Idema, last year`s second place finisher, is still in this event and alive and kicking with 200,000. We will definitely keep an eye on him to see if he can improve on last year`s performance and win the bracelet.
Vladimir Shchemelev had been crippled in an earlier hand, and he barely have enough chips to put a three-bet in preflop. After Ian Johns raised, Shchemelev raised all in from the small blind. The big blind got out of the way, and Johns made the call.
Shchemelev:

The board ran out , and Johns made two pair to knock out the Russian. With one more elimination, there will be a redraw of the final 27 players.
Michael Schneider raised from the hijack and was soon three-bet by Justin "Boosted J" Smith in the small blind. Schneider made the call as the was put out on the flop. It went bent-raise-reraise-call, which was followed by the on the turn.
This time Schneider just called Smith's bet, as he did on the river. Boosted J showed to take down the pot and get that boost he's been looking for!
Justin "Boosted J" Smith raised under the gun and almost swiped the blinds, that is until Marwan Abdelal decided to defend from the big. Abdelal then led out on both the flop and turn, which prompted Smith to call.
When the appeared on the river, Abdelal bet again, but this time Smith raised. Abdelal three-bet, Smith called, and Abdelal rolled over for a full house. Boosted J simply mucked as he dropped to around 100K in chips.
Nick Schulman raised under the gun and received a single call in the form of Mikhail Smirnov in the small blind. When the flop came down , Smirvov took charge and led out with a bet, which Schulman called. Smirnov again bet when the was turned, but this time Schulman raised. Smirvon opted for a three-bet, Schulman called, and the peeled off on the turn.
Schulman called a Smirnov bet, but insta-mucked when he saw his opponent's full house.
