Canada vs. Russia

Level 2 : 250/500, 0 ante

The WSOP attracts players from all different nationalities and backgrounds, and cultures collided in a recent hand. Action had folded to Anh Van Nguyen in the small blind and it looked like he raised. Russian Vitaly Lunkin made the call from the big and it was heads up to the {9-Spades}{6-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Nguyen didn't take long to bet, Lunkin called, and the {J-Clubs} hit the turn. Again Nguyen bet, but this time Lunkin put in a raise. Nguyen called and then led out when the {4-Hearts} appeared on the river. Lunkin put in another raise, Nguyen called, and the Russian flipped over {2-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for two pair. Nguyen rapped the table before tossing his cards in the muck.
