Kabrhel Knocks Out Three

Martin Kabrhel
Martin Kabrhel

We had just gotten back from break when we noticed a growing hand at Martin Kabrhel's table. A short stack in early position moved all in for around 5,000 in chips, another player in middle position raised it to about 12,000, the player on the button then went all in. When the action finally got to Kabrhel, he moved all in easily covering all the players in the hand, both other players called and cards were turned.

Kabrhel: {k-Hearts}{k-Diamonds}
Early Position: {A-}{9-}
Middle Position: {Q-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}
Button: {Q-Diamonds}{Q-Spades}

Kabrhel had three players all in and was ahead, both players with pocket queens essentially canceled each other out unless they could somehow manage a flush or straight to appear on the board and it didn't really matter if an ace hit the flop because the player with {A-}{9-} was super short and fairly irrelevant. Kabrhel was in a dream spot and set to create a mountain range of chips that would go up to his chin and across 1/5 the table.

As everyone stood in wild excitement and anticipation the dealer burned and put three cards out on the board. {5-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{9-Clubs} all made an appearance essentially shutting the door on both players with queens. However the short stack was able to grab a pair of nines and some outs that could potentially quadruple him up.

A {8-Spades} on the turn brought the possibility of a devastatingly rewarding chop pot to all the players, but a chop pot was the last thing Kabrhel was looking for as he planned on scooping the whole pot.

A river {2-Hearts} sealed it and Martin Kabhrel has moved into a dominating chip lead of the whole tournament with over 100,000 more chips than second place's chips.
