Pearson Crippled

2-7 Triple Draw

Kendall Fukumoto raised from early position before the flop; Brian Haveson called, but Travis Pearson then re-raised from the button. Fukumoto and Haveson called, then Fukumoto and Pearson each drew one while Haveson drew two.

Fukumoto and Haveson checked and Pearson bet, but Fukumoto check-raised, forcing Haveson out of the way. Pearson called, then each player drew one before Pearson called Fukumoto's opening bet.

Fukumoto then stood pat and bet all-in for 34,000 after the third and final draw; Pearson, who had taken one, gave it up and Fukumoto flashed {7-}{6-}{5-}{3-}{2-} before the dealer shipped him the pot.

Haveson Can Have It

2-7 Triple Draw

With the game now switched to 2-7 Triple Draw, the action folded around to Brian Haveson who raised from the small blind before the first draw. Travis Pearson called from the big blind, then he took two while Haveson exchanged three.

Haveson check-called Pearson, then both players checked after they each took one on the second draw. On the third and final draw, Pearson drew one and Haveson stood pat before opening the betting; Pearson called, but folded after Haveson tabled {8-}{5-}{4-}{3-}{2-}.

And That'll Be Four!

Pot-Limit Omaha

Just when you thought it couldn't get any crazier, we've now witnessed our fourth consecutive double-up!

All the money was in the middle before the flop; Kendall Fukumoto was the all-in player from the big blind and tabled {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{10-Hearts}{7-Hearts}, and found himself well ahead of the {A-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{Q-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} of Kevin Chance.

Nothing changed on the flop of {8-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}{2-Hearts}, but the rail perked up with a collective "ooooooh" when the {5-Hearts} spiked on the turn, giving Chance the wheel draw.

Needing a four, Chance came oh-so-close, but the {3-Diamonds} was just not enough and Fukumoto doubled up.

Double-Double!

Pot-Limit Omaha

We've now had our third double-up in a row, with Travis Pearson picking up his second for the night, this time against John D'Agostino.

Brian Haveson raised to 30,000 before the flop and Pearson called from the cutoff before D'Agostino potted it from the button, making it 138,000 to go. Haveson folded, Pearson shoved for 162,000 and D'Agostino snap-called.

D'Agostino: {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{K-Spades}{4-Hearts}
Pearson: {K-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{8-Spades}

D'Agostino was in great shape, but to his horror the flop was spread {7-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{6-Clubs} to give Pearson the nut straight! The turn and river were an uneventful {2-Spades}, {3-Clubs} and we are still at seven players!

Fukumoto's Running on Fumes

Pot-Limit Omaha

Just after Travis Pearson's double-up, all the money went in the middle before the flop between Kendall Fukumoto and Kevin Chance. Fukumoto had a rather pretty-looking {K-Hearts}{K-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{10-Spades}, but was dominated by Chance's {A-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{7-Diamonds}.

Chance improved to a set on the flop of {8-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{A-Hearts}, then proceeded to fill up after the turn and river came running {10-Clubs}, {10-Diamonds} and he doubled up, leaving Fukumoto with less than 100,000 in chips.

Pearson Doubles

Pot-Limit Omaha

Shaun Deeb raised to 28,000 before the flop and the action folded around to Travis Pearson who re-raised all-in for 81,000. Deeb snap-called, tabling {9-Diamonds}{8-Diamonds}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds} but needed help against Pearson's {k-Hearts}{J-Diamonds}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}.

Fortunately for Pearson, he hit the king-high straight on the board of {Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}{3-Clubs}{K-Clubs} to double up to almost 189,000. Deeb is now down to around 1.2 million.
