We Will Have a New Champ

Level 10 : 400/800, 0 ante

Defending Champion, Michael Chow had just 1,800 left and raised to 1,600 first into the pot. Men "The Master" Nguyen tried to isolate him from the button with a three bet but Thayer Rasmussen had other plans and made it four from the small blind. Chow threw in his last 200 and Nguyen called.

The three players saw a {2-Spades}{7-Clubs}{7-Hearts} flop and Rasmussen fired out 800 to which Nguyen called. The {J-Diamonds} came on the turn and again Rasmussen fired. Nguyen called and the river was the {4-Spades}. This didn't stop Rasmussen from firing one more time which forced Nguyen to finally let go of his hand.

Rasmussen spread what was nearly the best starting hand in the game {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{2-Hearts}{3-Clubs} which was good in this hand for both the high and low against the all-in Champ.

Thayer has 23,500 while "The Master" falls to 16,000. Also at that table is Bryan Micon with 29,500.
