Ravi Raghavan raised to 3,700 from early position and action folded around to the big blind who moved all in for 9,800. Raghavan called and they revealed their hands.
Raghavan:
Big Blind:
The flop was bad news for the all-in player when it came giving Raghavan a pair of sevens. The turn of the turned his hand into two pair, and the on the river gave Raghavan an unneeded full house. The big blind was sent to the rail while Raghavan's stack grew to 140,000.
Stephen Chidwick ended up all in preflop for his last 41,000 against the player in the big blind. Chidwick's was leading the other player's through the flop of , but the on the turn gave the other player the lead. The on the river was no help to Chidwick and he was sent to the rail.
A player in middle position raised to 4,200 and a player in late position re-raised all in to 46,000. Ravi Raghavan (who had both players covered) went all in as well. The initial raiser called for the rest of his chips and all three hands were revealed
Raghavan:
Middle Position:
Late Position:
The board ran out and both the all-in players were eliminated while Raghavan's stack soared to 245,000.
We missed the amounts but saw Jean-Paul Pasqualini raise from the small blind and lead out against the big blind who called preflop and on the flop. On the turn, Pasqualini slowed down and checked. The big blind bet 5,000 but was met with a check-raise to 15,500 from Pasqualini. The small blind made the call but folded when Pasqualini put him all in on the river.
The player under the gun moved all in for 12,000 total and it was folded around to Joshua Schoonover in the big blind who was sitting with a stack of around 52,000. He looked at his cards and quickly folded face up. UTG showed and the small blind repeatedly said “WOW!” along with some railbirds who concurred and said sick fold too.
A player in late position and Luke Davies got all the chips in the middle preflop after a series of raises. Davies was well ahead of the other player's until the flop came giving the other player a set of jacks. The turn and river brought the and which were of no help to Davies and the other player doubled up.
After the hand Davies was left with 135,000, which is still well above the chip average.
We missed the full action preflop but it appeared as though an early position player raised and Erik Lemarquand called from the small blind. On the flop, Lemarquand check-called his opponent’s 17,500 bet. Both players checked the on the turn and Lemarquand fired 17,000 on the river. The early position player folded as Lemarquand continued to build his stack.
We caught up with the action on the board where the small blind was all in for around 25,000 against James Carroll.
Carroll:
Small Blind:
The turn was the action card as it gave the small blind a pair of nines with an inside-straight draw and Carroll the nut flush draw. The river was the which gave the small blind trips as Carroll’s stack continued to plummet.
