Wong's Mighty Stack Dented

Level 18 : 2,500/5,000, 500 ante

A player in middle position opened to 12,000, and Jerry Wong called a couple seats over. Action came around to Kyle Keranan in the blinds, and he squeezed in a reraise to 45,000 total. That folded the initial raiser, but Wong reraised all in with his massive stack. Keranen instantly called, and his {A-Hearts} {Q-Clubs} was flipping against the mighty {4-Spades} {4-Clubs} of Wong.

The {K-Hearts} {3-Spades} {5-Spades} flop was a big miss for Keranen, and the turn {5-Diamonds} was only a little bit of help. It did give him another three outs to the win, and as it turned out, that's just what he needed. The {K-Clubs} dropped off the deck on the river, and Wong's counterfeit three pair are worthless. He's forced to pay off a 253,500-chip double up, knocking him down to 448,000.

With that big double comes the chip lead for Keranan, shooting his way past the field and up to about 525,000.
