Nice Flop for Budin

PLH

Cedric Adam was under the gun and raised to 9,000. Joshua Budin was in the small blind and made the call. It was heads up to the {7-Spades}{K-Clubs}{6-Spades} flop, which Budin checked. Adam bet 10,000, and Budin check-raised the pot, which put him all in at 35,900. Adam tanked for about 90 seconds before sliding in a call.

Adam: {J-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}
Budin: {K-Spades}{Q-Spades}

To say it was a good flop for Budin would be an understatement. He had flopped top pair with a flush draw to boot, making him a huge favorite. The {2-Spades} turn gave him the said flush and ensured his double. Not that it matters, but the {4-Spades} was the river card.

Adam's Apples

Cedric Adam has tripled up, Jason Potter raised preflop to 9,500, Adam moved all in for 10,800 total and Scott Clements and Potter both called.

The flop was {Q-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{7-Clubs} and Clements check folded to a 17,700 bet from Potter.

Potter showed {K-Diamonds}{K-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{6-Hearts} and Adam flipped {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{9-Spades} - the latter holding on a {8-Hearts} turn and {9-Diamonds} river.

Rinaldi Busts Perrot

PLH

Fabien Perrot raised to 12,000 under the gun and was met with a pot-sized reraise from Claudio Rinaldi in the cutoff. Action folded back to Perrot and he called all in for 13,300.

Perrot: {K-Spades}{2-Spades}
Rinaldi, {A-Diamonds}{A-Spades}

The {J-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{8-Spades} flop was not much help to Perrot, but the {10-Diamonds} turn did give him an open-ended straight draw. Lucky for Rinaldi, the {7-Hearts} river blanked and he sent his opponent to the rail.

Meanwhile, Scott Gledhill was also eliminated from the tournament.

Lestock Pulling Away from the Pack

PLO

We didn't catch all the preflop action, but we know a huge pot developed when David Hedley was all in preflop holding {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} against the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{9-Spades}{7-Spades} of David Lestock. Almost the entire table was on its feet as the flop came out {9-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, keeping Hedley in the lead.

When the {K-Clubs} hit the turn, Lestock hit two pair and vaulted into the lead. While he didn't need it, the {8-Spades} river gave Lestock a straight. Hedley was eliminated from the tournament while Lestock added the sizeable pot to his already massive stack.

Nice Call by Zartman

PLH

Scott Clements raised to 12,500 from late position and was quickly three-bet to 28,000 by Kyle Zartman in the cutoff. Clements proceeded to check-call a bet of 36,000 on the {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{7-Spades} flop, leading to the {3-Diamonds} turn.

Both players seemed happy to check, which lead to the {9-Spades} on the river. Clements immediately fired out a bet of 85,000 and Zartman ended up making the call. "Ace high," Clements said, prompting Zartman to turn over the winning {J-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.
