As we mentioned earlier, late registrants are taking their seats in one hour increments. These are some of the players that we saw take their seats after the recent break.
On a board reading , a player check-called a pot-sized bet of 3,825 from Tom Dwan. When the completed the board, Dwan's opponent checked and Dwan immediately went all in for his remaining stack. His opponent reluctantly slid in a call.
On a board, four players checked to Annette Obrestad who was in control of the button. She fired 1,000 which was a little less than the pot and two players called her. The river was the and the first two players checked to Obrestad again. She fired 3,600 this time, good enough to get rid of the first player. The second player was sitting directly to her right and decided to make the call.
Obrestad just sighed and said, "You're good." Her opponent tabled for Nine's and Three's which was good enough to ship the pot.
We came to Bertrand "ElkY' Grospellier's table as he was sliding his whole starting stack into the middle on a board showing . His opponent took a few seconds before calling, and ElkY showed for flopped quads. His opponent looked to be a bit disappointed with ElkY's hand, until he realized that he had a straight flush! He showed , and swore to the table that he didn't realize he had the straight flush until he flipped his hand. Regardless, ElkY had to cash in his add ons, and has 20,000 now.
On flop, a player in the small blind checked and Jason Mercier bet 950 from middle position. The small blind player re-raised to 2,500 and Mercier shipped in his stack for about 6,500. His opponent called.

Both had trip Six's but it was the of Smith's opponent that had his beat. The turn and river bricked out for Smith and he is down to just 5,500 and one rebuy lammer.
Andy Black had just taken his seat for the 6 pm wave of players, and on the first hand, he had already gotten all of his chips in the middle. The players were turned up and both had aces, so they were both looking to pair their other cards.
