Valuetown For Varonen

Level 17 : 2,000/4,000, 500 ante

Under the gun, Garrett Adelstein opened to 6,500, and Lauri Varonen defended his big blind. Heads-up, the flop came {K-Clubs} {7-Hearts} {10-Spades}, and Varonen check-called a continuation bet of 7,500. On the {K-Hearts} turn, he check-called another 18,500, and Adelstein bet 33,500 on the {7-Clubs} river. Varonen called him down.

Adelstein showed up {Q-Diamonds} {Q-Hearts} for kings and queens, and his two pair was the winner. Varonen mucked, and he slips back to 126,000 while Adelstein advances to 395,000.
