The players have now taken their seats and play is back underway!
"Good luck everyone," said the tournament supervisor, before quickly adding, "Not everyone." Jonathan Epstein has drawn the button for the first hand.
"Just out of curiosity, who's cheering for Jonathan Epstein?" asked the tournament supervisor.
Several Bronx cheers (and a few more jeers) went up from the crowd.
"There we go," said the tournament supervisor before glancing over at Epstein. "Nice job, princess."
Amanda Sizemore raised to 32,000 in middle position and Carol Tomlinson raised all in from the small blind. Sizemore called all in for her tournament life and the players turned up their hands.
Tomlinson:
Sizemore:
Sizemore was ahead with her pair of queens and it stayed that way through the flop and turn. Tomlinson would need an ace for a higher pair or a queen for a straight on the river to knock out her opponent. The river was the and Sizemore was eliminated as Tomlinson took a sizeable chip lead.
The remaining players are now on a 15 minute break as the stacks are being counted for the official final table.

After the player introductions from Kristy Gazes, the cards are back in the air!
We picked up some interesting facts about our players during the introductions, and we'd like to share some of the highlights with you now.
Karina Jett has already placed fourth in the WSOP Ladies Event back in 2003 and 2004 with a total of nine cashes up until this point. However, this will be the first time that Jett has made a final table of a WSOP event as an expectant mother.
Should there be a delivery required, we've got not one, but two nurses here - Valerie McColligan is registered in Wisconsin and Carol Tomlinson in Florida. And to make sure of a safe delivery, Katherine Stahl will be able to use her skills as a police officer to keep the crowd in order, with help from Jennifer Cowan, who'll be able to muscle them back as well (she's a professional bodybuilder).
Genevieve Gloutnez is a qualified plumber, while Marsha Wolak is a real estate investor who runs an all-female motorcycle club on the side. At least they could all get together at Peg Ledman's billiard club in Memphis after this is all over for a few celebratory drinks.
As for Jonathan Epstein? As the WSOP announcer notes state (verbatim): "He's single and unemployed. No surprise on either count."
It's been fairly quiet in terms of action at the tables, but the crowd is already getting quite vocal for the ladies (not so for Jonathan Epstein). However, Marsha Wolak, who started this final table as the short stack, has just doubled up against Katherine Stahl.
The action folded around to Stahl who raised to 32,000 from middle position before Wolak shoved from the cutoff for 62,000. Stahl called, showing but needed a lot of help against the of Wolak.
The flop of gave both players the pair of aces, but Wolak now had a pair of queens to go along with it. The appeared on the turn, giving a slim chance to chop the pot with Broadway on the board, but the useless bricked out on the river to give Wolak the double-up.
Naturally, her rail are using a homage to The Brady Bunch - "Marsha! Marsha! Marsha!"
Wolak is now up to 156,000 while Stahl is down to 340,000.

The action folded around toMarsha Wolak, who moved all in from the button and Jonathan Epstein called all-in from the big blind. The rail jostled for position eagerly as the players went to showdown:
Wolak:
Epstein:
There was no doubt as to who the crowd was rooting for as they chanted: “Beat the dude! Beat the dude!"
The flop was a dramatic one as it came down to give Epstein straight and flush draws to go along with his ace. The on the turn took away his straight outs as another ten would now give Wolak a full house.
Epstein was down to a diamond or ace on the river to survive and double up but it came the and finally, he was eliminated. The rail erupted, cheering louder than every before and launched into a chorus of: “Na-na naaa na-na naaa na! Hey, hey, hey, goodbye!"
With the last remaining male player now gone, tournament director Robbie Thompson announced, "Finally, welcome to the Ladies Event!"
