From middle position, Justin Smith raised to 1,800 and Mike Sexton three-bet to 5,000 from the cutoff. Action folded back to Smith and he made the call.
The flop came down and Smith check-called a bet of 7,000 from Sexton. The turn was the and again Smith check-called, this time for 14,000. The river was the and Smith checked for a third time. This time Sexton checked as well and Smith tabled for a full house. Sexton just shook his head and mucked his cards.
Sexton now has 135,000 while Smith has "boosted" up to 220,000.
There was about 25,000 in the middle and the board read when we reached Andrew Brown and Erick Lindgren's table. Brown tossed out one T25,000 chip, two T5,000 chips and a T1,000 chip, totaling 36,000. Lindgren went deep into the tank, then eventually folded.

We caught up with the action on the turn of a board where Andrew Pantling bet 7,100 in the cutoff. David Chiu raised to 18,100 on the button and was met with an all in from Pantling for around 56,000. Chiu instantly called as the players turned up their hands.

Pantling had the second-nut straight but Chiu held the nuts to go along with his flush draw. Pantling would need any of the three remaining tens in the pot to survive and chop the pot. The river came the which was not what Pantling needed and he was eliminated while Chiu neared the top of the leaderboard.
After a bring in, Eugene Katchalov completed with a three before Joe Hachem raised. Fabrice Soulier called, Katchalov raised again and both players called.
On fourth street, Katchalov bet and both players called. Fifth street had Hachem leading the way with a bet and two calls. Sixth street followed the same pattern. On seventh, Hachem bet again, Soulier folded this time and Katchalov called.
Hachem tabled while Katchalov produced . It had to go down to the fifth card and Hachem's ace got the best of Katchalov's deuce. With that pot Hachem gets to 154,000 while Katchalov sits with 126,000.

We caught the action on fourth street, where Negreanu bet, Bach raised, and Cassidy and Negreanu both called. Negreanu slowed down, checking in fifth, and Bach bet. Cassidy and Negreanu both called.
Bach paired his nine on sixth, and led out. Cassidy released, and Negreanu called. Bach led again on seventh, and Negreanu was forced to fold.
