David Oppenheim

Pot-Limit Omaha

Four players. About 25,000 in the middle. Flop {2-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{6-Hearts}.

Jon Turner (SB), Gus Hansen (BB), and Robert Williamson III (EP) all checked to David Oppenheim in late position who bet 21,000. The blinds got out, then Williamson check-rasied to 81,000. Oppenheim reraised again, and that's when Williamson removed his earbuds, announcing he was reraising all in with his remaining stack. Oppenheim quickly made the call.

Williamson: {J-Hearts}{9-Diamonds}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}
Oppenheim: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{7-Spades}{7-Hearts}

The {6-Clubs} came on the turn, filling up Oppenheim. "That's it," said Williamson as the meaningless {5-Hearts} fell on the river. The pair were fairly close in chips when the hand began, but a count revealed Williamson still had tourney life with about 30,000 left. Meanwhile, Oppenheim doubles to about 470,000.
