Hand #12: Benba Wakes Up

Level 36 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante

Who had the button? Bob Bounahra.

Action folded to Ben Lamb and he decided to get involved for the first time today. He raised to 1.1 million. Everyone folded and Lamb won the pot.

Hand #11: Eoghan O'Dea

Level 36 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante

Matt Giannetti had the button. Pius Heinz was the first to enter the pot with a raise to 1.1 million, and the action came all the way around to the big blind where Eoghan O'Dea flatted to see a flop.

It came {6-Hearts} {10-Spades} {5-Hearts}, and O'Dea checked to the raiser. Heinz made a continuation bet of 1.225 million, and O'Dea peered down at the felt in front of him. After about 45 seconds, he made the call, and the {5-Spades} landed on fourth street. Both men checked this time, and the river brought the {4-Spades} and a leading bet from O'Dea. He considered for a good long while, then made it 2.6 million to go. Heinz gave it just a cursory look before returning his cards to the muck, and Heinz has been reduced to 12.175 million with that slide.

O'Dea is now nipping at the heals of the chip leader with 37.85 million.

Hand #10: Martin Staszko

Level 36 : 250,000/500,000, 50,000 ante

Chip leader Martin Staszko had the button to start this hand.

Staszko raised to 1.1 million when play folded to him. In the big blind, Bob Bounahra made the call and the flop came down {A-Spades}{Q-Clubs}{10-Hearts}. Bounahra was first and checked. Staszko also checked.

The {8-Hearts} landed on fourth street and Bounahra checked. Staszko began to reach into his stack. He fired 1.3 million. Bounahra took some time, but eventually folded his hand and Staszko won the pot.
