Mitch Schock eliminated in 8th place ($19,856)

Mitch Schock has been given the ol' 1-2 by the other two short stacks on this final table to depart the Amazon Room in eighth place.

Earlier, the action folded to Harrison Wilder who raised before Schock called from the blinds to go heads-up to a flop of {K-Clubs}{J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}. Schock check-called Wilder after the flop, then check-raised him on the turn of the {Q-Diamonds}.

Wilder called all-in and Schock showed {Q-Hearts}{10-Hearts}, but reeled in horror when Wilder opened up {A-Hearts}{10-Clubs} for Broadway! Needing another ace to chop, the river was the {3-Diamonds} and Schock was left with less than 90,000 in chips, which he moved into the middle in the very next hand against Thomas Jamieson after a flop of {9-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{K-Clubs}.

Schock was at risk with {A-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts}, but Jamieson had hit top pair with {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}, which held all the way as the turn and river ran out {8-Clubs}, {9-Hearts}, but by the time the dealer had dealt the turn, Schock was already shaking hands with his tablemates before taking his leave to collect a $19,856 check.
