Match 1: Hastings Takes Another

Tommy Chen made it 50,000 to go from the button and Brian Hastings called from the big blind. The flop brought the {2-Spades}{A-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Hastings check-called a bet of 55,000.

The turn brought the {10-Spades} and both players checked. The {8-Diamonds} river and they both checked once again. Hastings tabled {8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} for a rivered pair of eights and it was good.

Hastings is now up to 1,925,000 and has two lammers behind while Chen is sitting on his last 635,000.

Match 2: Parker Makes The Right Call And Doubles Up

From the button Jason Mo raised to 48,000 and Brock Parker called. The flop came down {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs}{4-Hearts} and Parker check-called a 50,000 chip bet. The turn was the {5-Diamonds} and Parker check-called 100,000. On the river the {8-Clubs} showed up and Parker checked again. Mo put his opponent all in for 440,000 and Parker went into the tank. After tanking for a bit Parker put his chips into the pot and Mo mucked his hand. Parker showed {9-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Mo had to show his {6-Spades}{2-Spades} because it was an all in showdown.

Parker doubles up to 1,276,000 while he still has two rebuy lammers left behind. He is now in the lead while Mo has taken his final rebuy chip. He now has around 1.2 million chips.

He found a little on the {3-Clubs}{7-Spades}{8-Diamonds} flop as he picked up a gut-shot straight draw to any nine, but the {5-Spades} turn and {3-Diamonds} river would both blank. Hastings took down the pot, chipping up to 1.92 million in the process, while Chen was forced to use his last lammer for 640,000.

Brock Parker raised the button to 40,000 and Jason Mo made the call. The flop came down {K-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds}{2-Clubs} and Mo check-called a 50,000 chip bet. The turn was the {6-Clubs} and both players checked. On the river Mo bet 100,000 and Parker moved all in for just 184,000 more.

Mo tanked for around three minutes talking to himself, but he finally made the fold. Parker is now back up to 564,000 and still on his first bullet.

Brian Hastings opened for 40,000 on the button only to have Brian Hastings make it 130,000 to go from the big blind. Hastings made the call and the flop came down {4-Spades}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades}. Chen was first to act and led out for 130,000, but he was quickly met with a raise to 500,000 by Hastings. Chen thought for the briefest of moments before releasing his hand, dropping to 440,000 in the process.

Hastings is currently sitting with 1.48 million.
