Selbst Three-Bets

Level 23 : 10,000/20,000, 3,000 ante

Michael Kaufman just raised to 40,000 from the hi-jack and Vanessa Selbst, who was in the cut-off, opted to three bet to 82,000 right away. Nobody wanted to play with Selbst who took down this pot without seeing a flop.

JP Kelly Doubles Up Abdyl Konjuhi

Jacob Bazeley raised to 40,000 in first position and Vanessa Selbst made the call from mid-position. JP Kelly was seated in the cutoff and he moved all-in. The button folded and Abdyl Konjuhi also moved all in from the small blind. Both Bazeley and Selbst folded and we had our first showdown at the final table.

Konjuhi{K-Hearts} {K-Diamonds}
JP Kelly{A-Spades} {Q-Spades}

Board: {J-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {3-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {6-Clubs}

Despite the JP Kelly fans trying to suck the ace out of the deck it didn't materialize and JP Kelly had doubled up Konjuhi.

Kelly Cracks Aces to Stay Alive

JP Kelly moved all-in in the hand after he lost almost all his chips. Andrew Badecker decided to look him up and we saw the following showdown for a pot worth around 250,000 chips.

JP Kelly{K-Diamonds}{Q-Diamonds}

The board ran out {6-Spades}{Q-Spades}{Q-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{K-Clubs} giving Kelly a full house and the much needed double up. We are still with nine players but Kelly isn't out of trouble yet!
