Eighty-Six Perfect for All!

Level 19 : 6,000/12,000, 0 ante

Between David Baker, and Benjamin Lazer, three bets went in after the second draw, and both players stood pat on the third. We missed the exact action after the last draw, but they both showed {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for eighty-six perfect. The large pot was chopped, to the chagrin of both players.

Lazer Takes One off Ohel

Randy Ohel raised from under-the-gun and was only called by Benjamin Lazer in the next seat.

Both guys discarded two before Ohel led for a bet and Lazer called. Lazer needed to draw another two but Ohel was happy to draw one in that round.

Lazer fired 16,000 and Ohel called once more. Lazer was still looking for that one last card as he drew one more, but Ohel had found what he was looking for and stood pat. This didn't stop Ohel firing one more bullet. Call.

Ohel: {9-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-}
Lazer: {8-}{7-}{6-}{4-}{2-}

Lazer took that one.

Buchanan Takes a Big Hit

Shawn Buchanan opened from middle position, and David Baker called from the small blind. On the first draw, Baker discarded one card, and Buchanan two. Baker led out, and Buchanan called.

On the second draw, both players drew one card, and Buchanan flashed the {9-Diamonds}, indicating that he was breaking a nine-low. Baker led out, and Buchanan called.

On the final draw, Baker stood pat, and Buchanan drew one. Baker checked, and Buchanan tanked a bit before betting. Baker made the quick call, and Buchanan fanned {8-}{7-}{5-}{4-}{2-}.

"Eighty-six," Baker announced, tabling {8-}{6-}{4-}{3-}{2-} for an eighty-six perfect.

Baker raked in the pot, leaving Buchanan with only 55,000 chips.

Buchanan Doubles Back

Shawn Buchanan got straight back on the horse and doubled up.

He open-called David Baker's three-bet, and then committed his last 31,000 in a check-raise when both had drew two cards twice either side of checking. Call.

Buchanan stood pat from there and Baker drew once but missed and could only showdown {a-}{2-}{3-}{4-}{5-} for the wrong sort of wheel. Buchanan took the pot with {7-}{2-}{6-}{3-}{4-}.
