Team Pro vs Team Online

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante
Humberto Brenes
Humberto Brenes

We had an all in preflop showdown between PokerStars Team Pro Humberto Brenes and PokerStars Team Online Mickey Petersen. Brenes was holding {A-Spades} {2-Diamonds} and Petersen had {3-Spades} {3-Diamonds}.

The board ran {4-Spades} {3-Hearts} {A-Clubs} {2-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} and Brenes started counting his chips out. Apparently, he didn't fully realize that they had chopped the pot.

Brenes Doubles

Level 11 : 500/1,000, 100 ante

We found Humberto Brenes being pushed a pot with the {3-Spades}{3-Clubs} in front of him. Brenes got all of his chips in the middle against an opponent who held {A-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}.

Brenes is now sitting on about 20,000. While Brenes stacked his chips, the only comprehensible thing that we could understand was him repeatedly saying his own name.

Froelich Flops It; Doubles Up

With the board reading {9-Hearts}{J-Spades}{k-Hearts}, Eric Froehlich's opponent pushed out a bet of 8,800. Froehlich counted out a raise and made it 18,800 to go.

His opponent thought for about a minute before announcing that he was all in. Froehlich snap called, tabling {Q-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a flopped straight. His opponent showed {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts} and was looking for hearts or a ten for a chop.

Fourth and fifth street brought neither, however, coming {2-Diamonds} and {3-Spades} respectively. With that pot Froehlich was able to double up to about 130,000.

Kings Full For Petersen

Mickey Petersen
Mickey Petersen

With the board reading {K-Hearts}{8-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Hearts} we found Mickey Petersen pushing out a bet of 10,300. His opponent called rather quickly and we were off to fifth.

The {8-Spades} came on the river and paired the board. Petersen waited a moment before shoving out 17,600 in chips. His opponent announced "Call" and Petersen showed {K-Spades}{k-Clubs}. His opponent shook his head and shot his hand at the muck while Petersen dragged in the nice sized pot.
