Rubie KOs Two Players

Level 16 : 1,500/3,000, 500 ante

Brendon Rubie just knocked out two players in one hand. The player under the gun opened for 5,600, the small blind called and Rubie shoved from the big blind. Both players called and Rubie was way ahead holding pocket kings.

The UTG player held {A-} {9-} and the small blind had {8-} {8-}. The board ran out jack high and missed the two all in players.

Rubie is around 750,000 after the hand.

Sam Stein Eliminated in 16th Place ($12,745)

Sam Stein - 16th Place
Sam Stein - 16th Place

Eric Froehlich raised to 8,000 from the button and Anthony Gregg three-bet to 19,000. Sam Stein tanked in the big blind before calling. Froehlich took quite some time to ponder but ended up pushing out a call as well.

The flop came {J-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{9-Diamonds} and Gregg continued out with 24,000. Stein pushed out a raise to 51,000 and Froehlich quickly got out of the way. Gregg announced that he was all in and Stein called.

Gregg: {A-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Stein: {K-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}

Stein was looking for another heart but found a pair on the {Q-Spades} turn. The {J-Spades} came on fifth street but it was of no help to Stein and he was sent to the rail in 16th place.
