Naydenov Doubles Back

Level 9 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Jason Koon was really upping the pressure after he took the lead, and had Simeon Naydenov down to a little more than 300,000 before another big one.

Koon raised to 52,000 and Naydenov called to see a {3-Spades}{a-Spades}{7-Hearts} flop.

Naydenov check-raised all-in after Koon continued for 100,000. Koon was committed and called.

Koon: {j-Hearts}{a-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{9-Clubs} for top pair, overs, and backdoor flush draw.
Naydenov: {3-Hearts}{2-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{10-Hearts} for two-pair.

The board ran out {8-Hearts}{3-Clubs}. Koon picked up the flush draw but his opponent filled up on the river.

Cagey, Cagey...Bam

Level 9 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

This NLHE level was a fairly cagey affair with few pots getting beyond the flop. One did but that pot was checked all the way down.

Then we had an all-in but no call.

Simeon Naydenov open to 60,000 to face a 160,000 three-bet from Jason Koon. He responded but four-betting all-in for more than a million chips, and that forced Koon to fold.

They're almost even in chips again now.

Koon Slips Behind, then Doubles!

Level 9 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Jason Koon slipped back after three-bet folding in the last hand. He was not to do that again.

Simeon Naydenov opened and then shoved when Koon three-bet. Koon made a quick call all-in for his remaining 963,000.

Koon: {a-Spades}{q-Clubs}
Naydenov: {6-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}

The board ran {q-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs} to pair Koon's queen. Naydenov very short now.

Force Off to Good Start

Level 9 : 30,000/60,000, 0 ante

Leif Force has gotten the better of the early exchanges. He four-bet all-in and then won a pot that made it to the river.

Jason Koon opened to 25,000 and Force defended to see a {q-Spades}{6-Spades}{2-Spades} flop.

Koon continued for 32,000 and Force check-called before both players checked the {3-Clubs} turn. The river fell {9-Spades} and Force took the pot with a 40,000 as Koon folded.
