Players With Big Field Experience

Brent Hanks is back in the thick of it
Brent Hanks is back in the thick of it

We already have 2,439 players scattered around the Brasilia, Pavilion and Amazon room today so please bear with us as we try to cram in as many stories and as much action as we can.

So who has showed up on time in the Brasilia room?

The Romanian Mihai Manole is in the house bright and early. Manole has over $1.5 million in live tournament earnings. This includes eleven World Series of Poker (WSOP) cashes and two final tables. Manole once navigated his way through the choppy field of 2,543 entrants to finish third in the $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em event won by Michael Linn in 2010.

WSOP bracelet holder Scott Montgomery has also arrived bright and early. Montgomery found his way through 3,102 people on his way to his WSOP victory in a 2010 $1,000 event, so another one with big field experience. Montgomery is also on a little run of form after bubbling Event #23: $3,000 No-Limit Hold'em (Six-Handed) just a few short days ago.

Another punctual WSOP bracelet holder is Kathy Liebert. Liebert has amassed $990,767 through her 36 WSOP cashes and is dressed in her usual purple attire. Lieberts bracelet came in a $1,500 Limit Hold'em Shootout event held in 2004.

Last but not least we have one of our most recent WSOP bracelet holder in the form of Brent Hanks. Hanks found his way through a field of 2,101 players in the second event of this series. He took home $517,725 after besting a final table that included Vanessa Selbst, Andrew Badecker, JP Kelly and Jacob Blazeley. Hanks on the hunt for bracelet number two.
