Dimitar Danchev Eliminated in 10th Place ($34,620)

Dimitar Danchev - 10th
Dimitar Danchev - 10th

In the very first hand of the day, Daniel Hindin, doubled up Joseph Cheong, and the outcome was a mere 86,000 chips in the stack of Hindin. As we reached the end of the level 20 he is sat with 740,000 chips courtesy of a lot of clever play, hard work and the elimination of Dimitar Danchev.

Hindin had already doubled through Danchev before the pair decided to hold a rematch. We are not sure the flow of the action.

Hindin{Q-Diamonds} {10-Hearts} {9-Hearts} {9-Diamonds}
Danchev{A-Diamonds} {K-Spades} {5-Diamonds} {3-Diamonds}

Board: {10-Diamonds} {5-Hearts} {K-Hearts} {9-Spades} {2-Diamonds}

So a set of nines for Hindin and Danchev became our 10th place finisher.

De Maci Doubles Through Kihara

Is the pressure starting to get to the inexperienced Naoya Kihara? After a quick start the last few pots have not gone the way of our chip leader and that has climaxed with a big loss to Chris De Maci.

We joined the action with a bet of 124,000 splayed in front of Kihara in the big blind. De Maci was seated in first position and he had decided to re-raise 'pot'. The dealer and the two players were trying to work out the exact total when the two players agreed to play for stacks. On your backs gentlemen.

De Maci{A-Hearts} {A-Spades} {J-Diamonds} {2-Diamonds}
Kihara{A-Diamonds} {J-Clubs} {10-Clubs} {9-Spades}

Board: {8-Hearts} {Q-Diamonds} {6-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} {10-Diamonds}

Kihara had turned a straight but De Maci rivered a flush for a huge double up.

De Maci and Kihara Like to Tango

Chris De Maci and Naoya Kihara have tangled a lot today, and continue to do so.

First up De Maci check-called a 240,000 bet on a {10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Diamonds} board. Kihara opened {a-Clubs}{10-Clubs}{6-Diamonds}{5-Diamonds} for a straight and De Maci mucked.

A few hands later the two were all-in on an {a-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} flop.

De Maci: {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}{5-Clubs}{10-Hearts}.
Kihara: {a-Diamonds}{2-Diamonds}{q-Spades}{j-Spades}.

The board ran out {7-Clubs}{2-Hearts} to see De Maci's hand hold up.

Joseph Cheong Eliminated in 9th Place ($34,620)

Joseph Cheong - 8th place
Joseph Cheong - 8th place

He managed to double up once, the next time didn't work out too well for him.

He (big blind) and Davidi Kitai (small blind) got all the chips in when the action was folded to them. Cheong had less than 150,000 chips at that point.

Kitai: {q-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}.
Cheong: {a-Diamonds}{a-Spades}{2-Spades}{6-Spades}.

The board ran {8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{a-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{7-Diamonds}.

Running diamonds did it for Cheong, and he busted.

Scott Bohlman Finally Finds a Hand

Scott Bohlman has been card dead all afternoon when he was in desperate in need of a double up. Eventually, with his stack as low as 96,000, he picked up a hand in the small blind and decided to go with it. Naoya Kihara was seated in the big blind and obliged to give Bohlman the chance to double up or finish in 8th place.

Bohlman{A-Spades} {J-Clubs} {10-Diamonds} {10-Hearts}
Kihara{A-Clubs} {9-Hearts} {7-Hearts} {4-Diamonds}

Board: {K-Spades} {7-Clubs} {5-Diamonds} {Q-Clubs} {6-Clubs}

"Have I won?" Asked a very calm looking Bohlman.

He had won, with a pair of tens, and doubled up to 192,000.

The Experience of Davidi Kitai

Davidi Kitai knows how to win a World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelet and he is using that experience to his advantage. He really has had an excellent few levels that has resulted in him catching the chip leader with 1,310,000 chips. Here is he getting a little fancy on us.

Kitai raised to 34,000 in the cutoff, Chris De Maci three-bet to 86,000 on the button, Kitai four-bet to 312,000 and De Maci mucked his hand. Kitai then flung {6-} {9-} {2-} {x-} into the air for everyone to see. Now there's a statement!

Jason Dewitt Eliminated in 8th Place ($46,692)

Jason DeWitt - 8th place
Jason DeWitt - 8th place

The final seven players are being redrawn on to one table after the elimination of Jason Dewitt.

He opened to 32,000 from under the gun and called when Hans Winzeler three-bet to 104,000 from the big blind.

The flop fell {3-Diamonds}{8-Spades}{5-Hearts} and Winzeler led for the pot (216k) and called when Dewitt shoved for 323,000.

Winzeler: {a-Spades}{a-Hearts}{6-Spades}{4-Diamonds}
Dewitt: {7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}

The board ran out {2-Spades}{j-Hearts} and after a count down, the dealer worked out that Winzeler had Dewitt covered.

The players are being moved to the secondary feature table now. We’ll have the table redraw for you very soon.
