Day 3 is just two levels away for these players. They're off for one last 20-minute break, and the staff is coloring off the T100 chips while they're away.
We'll be right back.
Todd Brunson and an unknown player were betting a side pot while Dan Shak, who was all in, looked on. We're not sure when Shak got his money in, but he was packing his things and didn't look confident as his opponents fired away all the way through seventh street. The cards were all tabled and we apologize as we didn't catch the exact order for Brunson.
Brunson:
Unknown Player: /
Shak: /
The unknown player and Brunson chopped the high and low, and with that Shak was eliminated in 37th place for $3,921.

We just caught the tail end of this pot. Only one action, in fact, as we walked up after Mike Sexton had bet seventh street. He had showing, and Owais Ahmed needed some time in the tank. He was showing . After a bit of a think, he made the call.
Sexton revealed a flush with / — nearly a straight flush. Ahmed's cards hit the muck, and the two men shared a bit of a chat after the hand.
"Did you raise on the come?" Ahmed asked at one point.
"Four diamonds," Sexton let out a little smirk.

Cory Zeidman is having some kind of day here in Event #4.
Just a moment ago, we watched him send two players to the exit in one fell swoop. The two shorties were both all in on third street, and there was plenty of drama. The shortest of the stacks had kings up by seventh street, and the second short stack made an eight-low. Zeidman already had that beat with a seven-low, and he was drawing live to the scoop, too.
An ace on seventh street made Zeidman the winning aces up, and that double knockout moves him up the counts even further. Our eyes figure he's on about 210,000 now, but it might even be just a tick more than that.

Early today we saw Cory Zeidman's name in the chip counts but weren't able to find him in the field. We assumed he was among the pre-money eliminations, but that certainly wasn't the case as he is alive and well; in fact, he is sitting with a monster stack of 160,000. Why didn't we spot him sooner? Simple . . . he was wearing an uncharacteristic baseball cap.
Zeidman, who many remember as the man who slowrolled Jennifer Harman a few years back when he river a straight flush against her full house, is no stranger to this event as he entered the final table last year as the chip leader. Unfortunately for him, he wasn't able to gain any traction and finished in sixth place for $30,228. Can Zeidman make back-to-back final tables? He's certainly got the chips to do it.

Yuebin Guo was squaring off against Chris Tryba when he managed to get all his chips in on fifth street.
Tryba: / /
Guo: / / (X)
We didn't catch Guo's last card as he peeked at it and then sent his hand to the muck. He finished in 44th place and will take home $3,425 for his performance.

"Players down," is what we heard called from Table 411. When we made our way over the floor was handing green payout slips to John Womack and Bryan Devonshire, who were both eliminated after Erik Gorman made queens full of tens. Womack became the 49th place finisher while Devonshire took 48th, each earning $3,073.
devopoker Bryan Devonshire Busto 48th place for $3425 . Won the antes twice but lost every other chip I put into pots since dinner. Glad to cash, bummer of a finish.
