Early News From The Silver Section

World Series of Poker (WSOP) Event #5: $1,500 Pot-Limit Hold'em final tablist, John Eames, has found himself a nice view of the England v Italy match. He is seated right in front of the big screen. But Eames may want to keep his eye off the football, and instead on seat six because it contains the frame of Jude Ainsworth. Ainsworth is a phenomenal online player who can also throw his weight about in the live arena.

Also joining Eames and Ainsworth in the Silver Section of the Brasilia room include, Gabriel Nassif, Barry Shulman, Dylan Linde, Tony Cousineau and David Peters. Peters knows how to plough his way through a field of this size. Already this year he has scored a 7th place finish, for $70,8886, in Event #19: $1,500 No-Limit Hold'em, and in 2010, finished 2nd to Marcel Vonk in the $1,0000 WSOP event for $350,803. Here is Peters getting involved nice and early.

Peters raised to 75 in mid-position and Greg White made the call from the small blind. White proceeded to check-call two streets (100 & 225) on a {J-Clubs} {8-Spades} {2-Hearts} {K-Clubs} board before both players checked at the sight of {9-Spades} on fifth street. White tabled {A-Hearts} {K-Spades} and Peters mucked his hand.
