The One Drop tournament with a buy-in of $1,000,000 will commence on July 1st, but up until that time we will call these massive fields 'Big Ones'!
Today's event already has 2,492 players registered, there's a line at the cashier and up until the second break of the day players are allowed to buy in. The last $1,000 tournament at this WSOP drew a field of 2,795, and we're going to get very close to that number again today.
The previous $1,000 No Limit Hold'em had a first place prize of $440,238, which was taken home by Max Steinberg. He defeated Samuel Gerber heads up who took home $273,385.
