Final Two

Joey Weissman
Joey Weissman

Heads up play is under way and we recently witnessed a limp pot between the two players with a {2-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{9-Diamonds} flop exposed. Joey Weissman was in the big blind and first to act, and opted to check. Jeremy Quehen bet out 120,000 and Weissman called.

The {5-Diamonds} on the turn saw Weissman check-call another bet from Quehen, this time for 120,000.

The {q-Diamonds} river saw Weissman take control of the hand with a bet of 375,000. After a few minutes Quehen folded.

Weissman Has The Edge

There are three distinctly different rails out here at the moment. You have the very large and exuberant American rail, you have the equally as large but comparatively reserved French rail and then you have the everybody else rail. Talking about batches of three's here are three heads-up pots for you.

In the first hand it was Jeremy Quehen who raised to 120,000 and Joey Weissman who made the call. The flop was {J-Clubs} {5-Spades} {2-Hearts} and Weissman check-called a 120,000 Quehen bet. That was the end of the action as the {4-Spades} and {J-Spades} were checked through and Weissman dragged in the pot with {A-Diamonds} {4-Hearts}.

Then Weissman limped and Quehen checked. The flop was {J-Clubs} {5-Spades} {5-Hearts} and Quehen check-called a 60,000 Weissman bet. The {9-Hearts} turn was checked through before we saw the {Q-Clubs} on the river. Quehen bet 150,000, Weissman called and Quehen took the pot after tabling {K-Spades} {Q-Spades}.

Finally, the biggest hand of them all.

Quehen raised to 120,000 and Weissman made the call. The flop was a lowly looking {7-Spades} {5-Clubs} {3-Clubs} and Weissman check-called a 125,000 Quehen bet. The pattern changed on the {3-Hearts} turn because Weissman decided to bet 240,000 and Quehen called. The same action ensued on the {2-Clubs} river - for 400,000 - and Quehen called. Weissman showed {A-Diamonds} {7-Hearts} and Quehen's hand went into the muck.

On The River

Joey Weissman raised it up to 160,000 from the button and Jeremy Quehen in the big blind made the call.

The flop came {10-Hearts}{5-Spades}{6-Diamonds} and Quehen checked-raised to 380,000 after Weissman bet out 160,000. Weissman made the call and both players were witness to the {j-Clubs} on the turn. It was here that both players checked.

The {7-Clubs} on the river saw a bet of 775,000 from Quehen and a snap call from Weissman. Quehen flipped over {9-}{8-} for the nut straight and Weissman mucked his cards.

Three Pots and a Puddle of Pee

Where's the toilet...Ruff
Where's the toilet...Ruff

Three pots for Joey Weissman, one pot for Jeremy Quehen and a puddle of pee from the dog.

Quehen raised to 160,000 and Weissman made the call. The flop was {Q-Hearts} {10-Hearts} {3-Diamonds} and Quehen check-called a 130,000 Weissman bet. The turn {A-Diamonds} and river {6-Hearts} were checked through and sneaky Weissman won the pot with {A-Hearts} {4-Hearts} for the nut flush.

"Joey Weissman…clap…clap…clap…Joey Weissman," came the chants from the rail.

Next Weissman raised to 160,000, Quehen called and they shared a flop of {K-Spades} {6-Clubs} {2-Hearts} and a 160,000 Weissman bet took down the pot.

Quehen then raised to 160,000 and Weissman brought out a rare three-bet to close down the action.

Weissman then had a raise/fold to take the blinds, before Quehen raised to 160,000. Weissman made the call and the dealer gave them the {K-Hearts} {8-Diamonds} {9-Spades} flop. Weissman checked, Quehen bet 160,000 and Weissman folded.

Finally, the dog woke up, had a drink of water and peed on the floor. Just to prove the American rail has not done enough drinking...they cleaned it up!

Quehen Climbing His Way Back

Jeremy Quehen made the now standard raise of 160,00 from the button, and Joey Weissman three-bet to 380,000. The flop came {6-Spades}{9-Diamonds}{j-Spades} and Weissman bet out 380,000. Quehen quickly went all in and Weissman went into the tank. While Weissman pondered the room became silent, no small feat for this rail. In the end Weissman folded and Quehen was awarded the pot.

River Value For Quehen

After a series of raises and folds, Joey Weissman raised to 160,000 and Jeremy Quehen called. The flop was {10-Hearts} {4-Spades} {2-Diamonds} and Quehen check-called a 160,000 Weissman bet. The turn brought about the {K-Diamonds} and a pair of checks. Finally, we had the {Q-Clubs} and Weissman paid off a 430,000 Quehen value bet.

Weissman Wins Big One

Jeremy Quehen opened for 160,000 and Joey Weissman three-bet to 380,000. Quehen made the call and both players saw a {K-}{k-Clubs}{j-Clubs} flop. It was here that Weissman bet out 280,000 and was called.

The {Q-Spades} on the turn saw the same thing with Weissman betting out 625,000 and Quehen calling.

The {9-Clubs} on the river though saw a bet of 1,400,000 from Weissman. Queher took his time draining 3-4 minutes off the clock before eventually folding.
