Bartlog Bounced

Steven Loube raised to 3,800 from the hijack seat, Alex Gomes called from the cutoff, then Mark Bartlog reraised all in for 10,400 total from the button. It folded back around and both Loube and Gomes called. The flop came {8-Spades}{4-Spades}{4-Diamonds}, and when Loube bet Gomes bowed out.

Loube: {A-Clubs}{J-Clubs}{4-Hearts}{2-Clubs}
Bartlog: {K-Diamonds}{K-Spades}{J-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}

The turn was the {2-Diamonds} and river the {J-Spades}, leaving Loube with a full house and Bartlog had been bounced in 106th.

Durand Busts Frankenberger

Andy Frankenberger
Andy Frankenberger

Andy Frankenberger began today fourth in chips, but things didn't go his way here on Day 2. Frankenberger, who currently sits in third place on the 2012 World Series of Poker Player of the Year Leaderboard, lots a lot of chips early and recently met an untimely end.

It happened when he got his remaining chips all in with {A-Clubs}{7-Clubs}{3-Hearts}{3-Clubs} on a flop of {6-Spades}{6-Diamonds}{Q-Hearts} only to run into the {Q-Clubs}{6-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} of Marc Durand. The {9-Hearts} turn left Frankenberger drawing dead, and he was up out of his seat and exiting even before the dealer put out the {8-Clubs} on the river.

Fitzgerald Finds a Few

Niall Fitzgerald just grabbed a big pot off of Chip Jett. When we arrived the five community cards had been dealt and the board was showing {J-Diamonds}{5-Spades}{9-Clubs}{10-Spades}{8-Hearts}. Fitzgerald held {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Diamonds}, and Jett {A-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{3-Spades}, and Jett was congratulating his opponent on a good hand as the chips were heading the Irishman's way.
