Ida Lundholm Eliminated in 9th Place ($12,156)

Anna Lundholm - 9th place
Anna Lundholm - 9th place

Ida Lundholm of Sweden open-raised all in from early position for her last 82,000, and it folded to Angela Prada-Moed in the cutoff who then reraised over the top all in herself. Everyone else got out, and Lundholm turned over {6-Clubs}{6-Spades}, needing help against Prada-Moed's {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}.

The board came {2-Spades}{9-Spades}{4-Hearts}{Q-Spades}{10-Spades}, making both players flushes, but Prada-Moed's the better one, and Lundholm is our first elimination of the final table.

Rosemary Lawrence Eliminated in 8th Place ($15,559)

Rosemary Lawrence - 8th place
Rosemary Lawrence - 8th place

It folded to Candida Ross-Powers in middle position who raised to 40,000, and each player tossed her cards away in succession until the action reached Rosemary Lawrence in the big blind. Lawrence checked hers, then declared she was all in for 118,000 total. Ross-Powers called.

Lawrence: {K-Spades}{Q-Clubs}
Ross-Powers: {A-Diamonds}{J-Clubs}

The flop came {A-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}{2-Hearts} to pair Ross-Powers, but Lawrence still had a gutshot to Broadway. But the turn was the {6-Hearts} and river the {10-Hearts}, and Lawrence hits the rail in eighth.

Lesley Amos Eliminated in 7th Place ($20,184)

Lesley Amos - 7th place
Lesley Amos - 7th place

The eliminations are coming fast here in Level 20, with Lesley Amos the latest to fall.

After Yen Dang opened for 23,000 from the button, Amos reraised the minimum to 46,000 from the small blind, and Dang called.

The flop brought three picture cards — {Q-Spades}{J-Hearts}{K-Hearts} — and an all-in shove for 220,000 from Amos. Dang quickly called, tabling {A-Spades}{10-Diamonds} for a flopped straight. Meanwhile, Amos had flopped two pair with {Q-Hearts}{J-Clubs}.

The turn was the {3-Clubs} and river the {8-Spades}, and Amos was eliminated. That big pot pushes Dang up into the chip lead.

Jacks Help Rocco

Rae Rocco open-pushed her entire stack of 134,000 from under the gun, and it folded around to Debbie Pechac on the button who called. The blinds got out, Rocco showed {J-Clubs}{J-Spades}, and Pechac turned over {9-Spades}{9-Diamonds}.

The community cards came {3-Hearts}{A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}{6-Clubs}{7-Clubs}, meaning Rocco's jacks had held and the Las Vegas resident survives.

Rae Rocco Eliminated in 6th Place ($26,536)

Rae Rocco's run in the 2012 WSOP Ladies No-Limit Hold'em Championship has come to an end.

After raising 40,000 from under the gun, the table folded to Debbie Pechac on the button who reraised all in, and when the blinds got out, Rocco called.

Rocco had {10-Diamonds}{10-Clubs} and was hoping her tens would hold versus Pechac's {A-Spades}{Q-Spades}. But the flop came {A-Hearts}{Q-Hearts}{8-Clubs} to give Pechac two pair, and after the {4-Diamonds} turn and {2-Hearts} river, we are now down to five.

Howard Over Ross-Powers

Another all-in hand to report, this one ending with a big chip swing rather than an elimination.

After Jan Howard raised to 35,000 from the cutoff, Ross-Powers called from the button and both blinds stepped aside. The flop came {5-Spades}{10-Clubs}{Q-Hearts}. Howard led with a bet of 75,000, and after pausing just a beat Ross-Powers raised the minimum to 150,000. Howard didn't wait very long before pushing all in for 336,000 total, and Ross-Powers called the raise.

Ross-Powers: {A-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}
Howard: {A-Clubs}{A-Diamonds}

Aces versus queens, with Howard ahead. The turn was the {3-Hearts} and river the {K-Diamonds}, and Howard's hand remained best. With that one, Howard pushes up to challenge Dang for the chip lead.

Defending Versus Dang

The all-in bets have slowed down a bit, but here are a couple of recent hands resulting in some less dramatic chip movement. Both involved players in the blinds defending against late-position pressure from Yen Dang.

In the first, Dang raised to 25,000 from the button and got one caller in Debbie Pechac in the big blind. The flop arrived {K-Clubs}{3-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}, and Pechac led for 60,000. Dang called. The turn was the {4-Diamonds} and again Pechac bet out, this time 65,000. Dang called once more.

The river brought the {8-Hearts} and a 100,000-chip bet from Pechac, and this time Dang gave up her hand.

Soon after Dang was involved in another hand in which she'd opened from late position and got a caller from the blinds, this time Jan Howard in the big blind. The flop came {A-Spades}{10-Spades}{8-Spades}, and as Pechac had done before, Howard led with a bet of 35,000 which Dang called. Howard then checked the {9-Spades} turn, and when Dang bet 60,000, Howard called.

Howard checked the {K-Clubs} river, and a wary Dang checked behind. Howard showed {Q-Spades}{5-Spades} for a queen-high flush, and Dang let her hand go.
