David Borg
David Borg

Peter Eastgate was first to act and he raised it up to 210,000. The table folded around to Donald Vogel in the big blind who moved all in for 1,650,000. Eastgate made the call and cards were exposed.

Eastgate: {10-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Borg: {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}

The board came {6-Clubs}{A-Spades}{4-Hearts}{k-Spades}{7-Spades} and with that Borg found a double up, and moved to 3,400,000, while Eastgate moved in the opposite direction and sat with around 500,000.

The very next hand saw Borg raise preflop, and Eastgate move all in. The table folded back around to Borg and he made the call.

Eastgate: {7-Clubs}{6-Clubs}
Borg: {A-Spades}{j-Spades}

The board came {10-Spades}{5-Hearts}{9-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{9-Spades} and with the seven on the turn Eastgate was allowed to double up, back to 1,000,000.

Eastgate Doubles Through Borg

Action started with David Borg raising under the gun. Peter Eastgate was next to act, and he shoved all in for 1.515 million. It folded back around to Borg, and he made the call. The cards were tabled, and Eastgate was in great shape.

Eastgate: {10-Hearts}{10-Clubs}
Borg: {2-Clubs}{2-Diamonds}

This final table has been full of suckouts, but it looked like we weren't going to have that here, as the flop came down {k-Diamonds}{j-Spades}{10-Spades}, giving Eastgate a set and leaving Borg drawing to runner runner to win or chop. Of course, poker is rarely that easy, so the {q-Clubs} hit the turn, giving Borg eight outs for a chop. For once though, there was no miracle river, as the {7-Hearts} came.

After the hand, Eastgate is up to 3.1 million, while Borg drops down to 1.6 million.

Eliyahu Levy Eliminated in 5th Place ($152,867)

Eliyahu Levy- 5th Place
Eliyahu Levy- 5th Place

Wow. Wow. Wow.

When we came back from the dinner break, Eliyahu Levy held over a third of the chips in play with five left. Now, he is our fifth place finisher. Most of the damage was done by Tomas Junek. Action started with Peter Eastgate raising in the cutoff. He got three callers: Levy on the button, Junek in the small blind, and Donald Vogel in the big blind.

The flop came down {7-Clubs}{9-Spades}{10-Clubs}, and it checked around to Levy, who fired out 500,000. Junek thought for about 30 seconds before moving all in for just under three million. It got back around to Levy, and he thought for about five seconds before calling, making the biggest pot we've seen all tournament.

Levy: {q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}
Junek: {9-Clubs}{9-Diamonds}

Junek was miles ahead with his set, and Levy would need runner runner to win the pot. That went out the window when the turn and river both came deuces, and Junek took the massive pot to double up to six million.

On the next hand, Levy shoved all in with {a-Clubs}{3-Hearts}, and Vogel called with {a-Hearts}{k-Spades}. This time, the best hand held, as the board ran out {q-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{5-Hearts}{8-Hearts}{9-Hearts}. In a flash, Levy became our fifth place finisher, while Junek is now our overwhelming chip leader.

Another Short Stack Suck Out

Tomas Junek raised from under the gun making it 125,000. Donald Vogel was next to act and he moved all in for 835,000. The rest of the table folded and Junek made the call.

Junek: {A-Hearts}{j-Clubs}
Vogel: {K-Spades}{j-Hearts}

The flop came {8-Hearts}{2-Hearts}{3-Hearts} causing Vogel to lose one of his outs. Now he would have to hit the {k-Diamonds} or the {k-Spades}. The {k-Spades} then landed on the turn giving Vogel the lead. The {3-Clubs} on the river blanked out for Vogel, and another short stack has doubled up.

Junek Four-Bet Shoves

Tomas Junek raised from under the gun to 120,000, and it folded around to David Borg on the button. He quickly grabbed raising chips, and put in a three bet to 300,000. It folded back to Junek, and he asked Borg how much he started the hand with. Once he found out what he had, he announced all in. Borg thought for about 20 seconds before kicking his cards in.

After that hand, Junek is up to 3.2 million, and looking like he will be a threat to Eliyahu Levy, who's held the chip lead for the last few levels.

Junek Collects

Peter Eastgate limped from the button and Eliyahu Levy completed from the small blind and Tomas Junek checked from the big blind.

The flop came {2-Clubs}{A-Spades}{10-Clubs} prompting checks from Levy and Junek. Eastgate bet out 105,00. Levy folded, but Junek came along for the ride.

The {2-Spades} on the turn saw a repeat of action with Junek check-calling a bet of 150,000 from Eastgate. The {7-Diamonds} on the river saw Junek bet out 150,000 and Eastgate called. Junek flipped over {A-}{7-} for two pair. This was seemingly good enough as Eastgate mucked.
