"French as Well"

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

"Floor to Table 431!"

We followed the floor to check out what was going on, and when we arrived, the board read {9-Spades}{4-Clubs}{7-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{8-Diamonds}. Ferit Gabriellson had checked, and Darren Elias moved all in for around 60,000, which was about to thirds of the pot. Gabriellson was in the tank, and evidently, Dimitar Danchev called the clock on him.

"I haven't had enough time," Gabriellson protested. "Come on guys, this is bulls***. It's not the internet."

The floorperson denied his objection, and began the one-minue clock. Instead of tanking, Gabriellson continued to berate Danchev.

"This is a big pot, in a 10K tournament. You must be a real retard...French as well."

Danchev snorted at this, but didn't say anything. Eventually, Gabriellson released, and continued his rand.

"Give a little respect," he told Danchev.

Danchev said something to Gabriellson (we couldn't hear exactly what it was however).

"Do you want to go outside and show what kind of man you are?" Gabriellson challenged with a raised voice.

At this point, the floor stepped in to handle the situation. Gabriellson was taken away from the table for a short talk, but he was still steaming when he returned. We'll keep our eye on the situation.

Julius Double

Kyle Julius survived the bubble with very little chips, but he just added some to his stack when he doubled through Frederik Jensen.

Jensen put Julius all in from the small blind, and he made the call for 68,000 total.

Kyle Julius{A-Spades}{6-Spades}
Frederik Jensen{10-}{8-}

The board ran out {8-Diamonds}{A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{4-Spades}{K-Diamonds}, and Julius doubled up.

"The window card was so good," Jensen said as the first card they saw was the eight. Julius caught up quickly, hit an ace and doubled up.

Duhamel Three-Bet Shoves

From the hijack seat, Nick Rampone raised to 12,000. Action moved to 2010 World Series of Poker Main Event champion Jonahan Duhamel on the button and he reraised all in for 83,000. Play folded back to Rampone and he gave it up, allowing Duhamel to win the pot and chip up to over 100,000.

Ryan D'Angelo Bubbles

Sam Chartier raised to 12,000 from middle position and Ryan D'Angelo moved all in from the big blind. Chartier called. It took a while for the showdown to take place since the other tables weren't finished yet, but eventually this is what we saw.

Ryan D'Angelo{A-Clubs}{K-Spades}
Sam Chartier{J-Clubs}{J-Spades}

The board ran out {8-Clubs}{2-Spades}{8-Hearts}{7-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}, and everyone but Ryan D'Angelo is in the money. We still have two hours and 30 minutes left of play before the second day is over.

"Bring Beer"

Level 18 : 3,000/6,000, 1,000 ante

We're on the fifth hand of hand-for-hand play, and Kyle Julius just requested cocktail service.

"What do you want?" a floorperson asked him.

"Ummmm," he responded. "Just beer."

The floorperson asked one of her colleagues to, "Grab a cocktail server" and to also "bring beer."

Voulgaris Busts; Hand-for-Hand Play Begins

A player opened to 11,000, Carter Phillips called on the button, Nick Maimone called in the small blind, and Haralabos Voulgaris defended his big. The flop fell {j-Spades}{10-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}, and the action checked to Phillips, who bet 23,500. Maimone called, Voulgaris raised to 58,000, and the action folded back to Phillips, who re-raised to 150,000. Maimone released, and Voulgaris called all in for 142,000.

Timoshenko Busts; 50 Players Remain

Yevgeniy Timoshenko
Yevgeniy Timoshenko

From under the gun, Jason Senti raised to 11,000. Yevgeniy Timoshenko reraised to 26,000 from the hijack seat and action folded back to Senti. He took some time and then reraise to 47,500. Timoshenko thought, then shoved all in for 159,000. Senti called.

Timoshenko: {A-Clubs}{A-Hearts}
Senti: {K-Spades}{K-Hearts}

The flop came down {A-Spades}{10-Clubs}{5-Spades} and Timoshenko picked up top set of aces. The turn was the {2-Spades} and Senti needed one more spade to make a flush and win the hand.

The river delivered for Senti when the {6-Spades} fell and he made a flush. "Holy crap," said Senti. He had Timoshenko covered and won the pot to bust Timoshenko three off the money.
