Minor Damage to Demirdjian

There was about 12,000 in the middle and the board showed {A-Clubs}{J-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{A-Diamonds} when a player playing from the small blind bet 6,100, then Mark Demirdjian called from a seat over. Demirdjian is one of the big stacks at present, having pushed over the half-million chip mark during the early going here on Day 3.

The river brought the {7-Diamonds} and a check from Demirdjian's opponent, to which he responded with a bet of 11,300. The call came quickly, with the small blind showing {7-Clubs}{7-Spades} for sevens full of aces. Demirdjian showed his {A-Hearts}{4-Clubs}, and lost the small pot.
