No Money For Gork

Marc Gork just busted three spots off the money and we stood by his side as he was all in for his tournament life numerous times before finally losing his last chips.

In the first hand Gork raised all in for just 2,400 chips in early position. A player behind him raised and Todd Brunson called on the button. The flop came down {A-Clubs}{J-Diamonds}{8-Spades} and Brunson called a bet. The turn was the {6-Diamonds} and the river the {2-Clubs}, both times Brunson called a 3,000 chip bet.

Brunson mucked his hand when his opponent showed {A-Hearts}{3-Diamonds}{4-Diamonds}{K-Diamonds} but Gork wasn't out yet. He tabled {A-Spades}{3-Spades}{4-Spades}{10-Clubs} and chopped the low to stay alive. He got his 2,400 chips back and broke dead even on the pot. The very next hand Gork was all in again for 2,400 and this time Dan Shak called from the small blind and Can Kim Hua called from the big blind.

The flop came down {4-Spades}{2-Hearts}{8-Diamonds} and with a bet Hua scared off Shak and got it heads up against Gork. Gork showed {A-Diamonds}{4-Hearts}{6-Hearts}{Q-Spades} and took three quarters against Hua who showed {A-Clubs}{3-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{3-Hearts}. Both players had the nut low but Gork's straight gave him the high to get him back up to 5,500 chips. The very next hand Gork was under the gun and decided to limp. This invited a player in middle position into the pot and both blinds also stayed in to give us four way action on the flop. The flop was {A-Hearts}{8-Spades}{J-Clubs} and three players checked to the limper in middle position who bet 1,500 and only the small blind, Can Kim Hua, called. Gork tanked for a long time and folded after having invested an decent portion of his stack by limping pre flop. On the turn Hua check-folded when the {J-Diamonds} showed up and now Gork was in the big blind.

Gork ended up folding his big blind and was all in for just a few chips against the player on his left when he was in the small blind. Gork showed {K-Diamonds}{q-Diamonds}{J-Hearts}{2-Hearts} and said, "I need diamonds!" when he saw the {A-Clubs}{A-Spades}{3-Clubs}{Q-Hearts} he was up against. The board ran out {4-Clubs}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Gork grabbed both his and the cards of his opponent and threw them into the muck. No money for Gork who finished in 120th place.
