Devonshire Dusted

Bryan Devonshire- Out
Bryan Devonshire- Out

Jonathan Sorscher raised it up under the gun to 1,700, and it folded around to Bryan Devonshire in the cutoff. He shoved all in for 20,975, and it went back around to Sorscher, who made the call.

Sorscher: {a-Hearts}{j-Hearts}
Devonshire: {k-Clubs}{q-Clubs}

The flop was a disaster for Devonshire, coming down {a-Spades}{7-Hearts}{j-Spades}. Sorscher flopped top two pair, and Devo was looking for a ten for a straight to take control of the hand. The {2-Hearts} on the turn provided no help, and the river brought the {a-Diamonds}, giving Sorscher an unnecessary full house. Devonshire joked "showoff" as he left the table and headed to the rail.

After that pot, Sorscher is up with the big stacks, sitting on 75,000.

Somerville Sticks The Double Up Against Heinz

Jason Somerville came in for a raise to 1,600 in the hijack, and it folded to Pius Heinz, who three bet to 3,600. Somerville came along for the ride, and the dealer fanned out a flop of {2-Spades}{5-Hearts}{10-Hearts}. Heinz c-bet to 3,500, and Somerville moved all in for 17,900. Heinz made the call, and when the cards were tabled, Somerville was out in front.

Somerville: {10-Spades}{9-Clubs}
Heinz: {a-Spades}{5-Clubs}

Somerville's top pair stay true as the board completed {8-Spades} and {2-Diamonds}, and he collected the double up to 41,000. Despite that hit, Heinz is still well above average, sitting on 53,000.

Tieman's Kicker Takes It Down

Action started with Joshua Pender raising to 1,250 in the cutoff, and Josh Tieman was the only caller on the small blind. The flop ran down {a-Hearts}{4-Spades}{7-Clubs}, and both players checked it. The {q-Spades} hit the turn, and Tieman fired out 1,500. Pender came along, and the river was the {a-Diamonds}. Tieman check called a bet of 5,000 from Pender, who showed {a-Spades}{5-Diamonds} for trip aces. It was no good though, as Tieman showed {a-Clubs}{9-Spades} for better trips.

Tieman is up to 28,000 after the hand, while Pender is knocked down to 26,500.
