Patrick Kubat Eliminated in 6th Place ($75,879)

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante
Patrick Kubat
Patrick Kubat

Hand #67: Sunny Patel opened the pot to 90,000. Next to act Patrick Kubat moved all in for 290,000. Action folded back to Patel, who called.

Patel was holding the {J-Clubs}{10-Clubs} and needed to catch up to grab the elimination as Kubat was holding {5-Clubs}{5-Hearts}.

The flop came {2-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{9-Hearts} giving Patel a leading pair of tens, but he still needed to dodge a {5-} to secure the elimination. The turn came the {8-Clubs} though, not improving Kubat's hand. The {q-Hearts} hit the river improving Patel to a straight and sending Kubat to the payout desk with a healthy $75,879 for his sixth place finish.
