Hands 77-82: Is This Thing On?

Level 26 : 20,000/40,000, 5,000 ante

Hand #77: Taylor opened for 80,000 from under the gun, Polychronopoulos three-bet to 190,000, and Taylor tossed his cards away.

Hand #78: Mutke raised his button to 80,000, and the blinds surrendered.

Hand #79: Mutke opened for 80,000 in the cutoff, and again took down the blinds and antes.

Hand #80: Kurth raised to 90,000 from the cutoff, Carlton defended his big blind, and the dealer fanned a flop of {5-Clubs}{j-Spades}{k-Spades} across the felt. Both players tapped the table, and the {a-Spades} made an appearance on the turn. Two more checks brought us to the river, which came {2-Clubs}, and both players checked it down once more. Carlton's pair of kings were beat by Kurth's pair of aces on the turn, and the short stack became a bit healthier.

Hand #81: Cada received a walk in the big blind.

Hand #82: Polychronopoulos raised from the cutoff, making it 90,000 to play, and Mutke pumped it up to 250,000 from the big blind, which was good enough to force the fold.
