Duhamel Bests Richey

Level 17

Jonathan Duhamel raised from the cutoff only to have Brett Richey make it three bets from the button. Action folded back to the 2010 WSOP Main Event champion who called the three-bet.

The two took a flop of {3-Diamonds}{3-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and Duhamel check-called a bet from Richey. The turn was the {9-Diamonds} and Duhamel checked a second time. Richey fired off another bet and Duhamel stuck around. The board finished off with the {Q-Spades} and Duhamel check-called one final bet.

Richey showed {A-Hearts}{A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs}{2-Hearts} for aces and treys but was bested by Duhamel's {A-Diamonds}{10-Clubs}{8-Diamonds}{3-Clubs} for flopped trips. Duhamel dragged in the pot and now has about 126,000. Richey has been crippled to about 22,000 in chips.
