Sam Greenwood Eliminated in 17th Place ($9,984)

Level 20 : 5,000/10,000, 1,000 ante
Sam Greenwood
Sam Greenwood

In the first hand after the break Sam Greenwood has been eliminated by the hands of Victor Figueroa. Figueroa on the button had opened with {K-Clubs}{9-Clubs} and took up Greenwood who, in the big blind, had really found a hand with {A-Hearts}{Q-Diamonds}. Greenwood was the short stack with just a couple big blinds but was in a good spot to double up.

It wasn't meant to be though as the flop came king high: {K-Diamonds}{2-Clubs}{7-Clubs}. The {6-Spades} on the turn and {10-Hearts} on the river wouldn't help Greenwood and he exited the tournament in seventeenth place.
