Joao Dornelesneto opened the hijack to 6,500 and received a call from his neighbor on the button. Marc-Andre Ladouceur squeezed all in from the small blind for 39,000 total. The big blind gave up his chips and so did Dornelesneto. The player on the button thought about it and eventually said: "Yeah, I'm going to call you". Ladouceur tabled {A-Spades}{K-Spades} and was up against {A-Diamonds}{7-Hearts}. "Oh nice hand. I set you up for the squeeze but you found a real nice hand" the player on the button said.

The flop was still good for Ladouceur: {8-Clubs}{9-Spades}{3-Diamonds}. He could feel the bad news coming though. Ladouceur predicted a six on the turn, which would give his opponent an open-ended, but in fact the {7-Spades} would pop up giving the button a pair. Ladouceur could still hit a king or spade for the double up but he would fail on that mission. The {2-Diamonds} on the river was a complete blank and Ladouceur made his way to the exit in 83th place.
