Hands 17-20: Flack Extending His Chip Lead

Level 18 : 4,000/8,000, 2,000 ante

Hand #17: David "Bakes" Baker raised to 17,000 on the button and Jon Turner called from the big blind. Both players drew one card and both checked, Baker showed {Q-}{J-}{10-}{8-}{6-}, Turner mucked, and Baker collected the pot.

Hand #18: Jesse Martin raised to 24,000 under the gun and Layne Flack called from the next seat over. Martin stood pat while Flack drew one. A check from Martin led to a bet of 50,000 from Flack. After a few moments in the tank, Martin called. Flack tabled {8-}{7-}{5-}{3-}{2-}, Martin mucked, and Flack took back the chip lead.

Hand #19: John Hennigan raised to 18,000 in the cutoff and took down the pot.

Hand #20: David "Bakes" Baker raised to 17,000 from early position. Jesse Martin called from the small blind, Layne Flack called from the big blind, and all three proceeded to draw one card each. They each checked and Flack took down the pot with {9-}{8-}{7-}{4-}{2-}, upping his stack to about 750,000.
