Kelly Looking for More POY Points

Level 11

Pot-Limit Omaha

Lamar Wilkinson opened for 7,000 from middle position and Dan Kelly, who is in contention for the 2013 World Series of Poker Player of the Year, defended from the big blind. The {7-Clubs}{5-Clubs}{k-Spades} flop saw Kelly check-call a bet of 12,000 and then both players checked the {9-Diamonds} turn.

When the {3-Hearts} completed the board on the river, Kelly checked and Wilkinson bet 22,500. Kelly thought for about 90 seconds before making the call and Wilkinson indicated that it was a good decision. Kelly then tabled the {k-Diamonds}{5-}{3-Clubs}{a-Spades} for two pair and the win.
