Cornell Shows the Bluff

Level 23 : 12,000/24,000, 4,000 ante

Josh Prager raised from middle position to 55,000. James Alexander called behind him, Jon Lane called from the cutoff seat, then Tyler Cornell three-bet to 227,000 out of the big blind. Prager folded, Alexander called, and Lane folded.

Play was heads up to the {K-Hearts}{10-Spades}{4-Hearts} flop, and Cornell fired 235,000. Alexander called to see the {3-Diamonds} land on the turn. Cornell lead again, this time for 350,000. Alexander tanked and even asked if Cornell had aces. Eventually, he folded, and Cornell won the pot. Cornell showed the {A-Clubs}{Q-Clubs} for just ace high with a gutshot straight draw, prompting Alexander to pull his hat down over his head.
