Dan Owen

Dan Owen's table recently moved to the secondary feature stage, and so far the move has been treating him well. He just won two pots in a row, adding over 50% to his stack.

In the first, Samu Rustom raised to 100,000 from early position, Owen called on the button, and Carlos Mortensen called from the big blind. The flop came {9-Diamonds}{a-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}, and Rustom continued for 250,000. Owen raised to 600,000, and both Mortensen and Rustom folded.

In the very next hand, Simon Lam raised to 90,000 from late position, and Owen called from the cutoff. The flop fell {4-Spades}{q-Hearts}{j-Spades}, and Lam bet 125,000. Owen called, and the {8-Diamonds} hit the felt on the turn. Lam slowed down and checked, and Owen bet 150,000. Lam folded, and Owen won the pot.
