Oliphant Eliminates Hobson

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

Action folded to Phillip Oliphant, in the cutoff, who bet 350. Greg Hobson, on the button, bumped it up to 875 and Oliphant called after both blinds folded.

Oliphant check called Hobson's continuation bet of 825 on a {10-Clubs}{j-Hearts}{2-Diamonds} flop.

Oliphant led out for 1800 on the {q-Hearts} turn and Hobson quickly shoved all in. Oliphant called and showed {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds}. Hobson flipped over {a-Diamonds}{k-Diamonds} and was ahead of Oliphant's set. The river {q-Clubs} gave Oliphant quads to eliminate Hobson.

Dunst Eliminates Johnson

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante
Tony Dunst
Tony Dunst

Everyone folded to the hijack, who raised to 200. Tony Dunst, in the cutoff, reraised to 600. After the small blind folded, Marco Johnson, went all in from the big blind for his final 2,900. The player in the hijack folded and Dunst called.

It was a classic race with Dunst holding {q-Spades}{q-Diamonds} and Johnson {A-Diamonds}{k-Hearts}. The board came {10-Hearts}{6-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{3-Clubs} and was no help to Johnson as Dunst adds to his stack.

Bonomo Follows Seivers Lead

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante
Justin Bonomo
Justin Bonomo

At the beginning of the day we wrote that one table in particular was though. Scott Seiver just busted that table though, and now Justin Bonomo is also gone.

Anthony Spinella opened the button to 350 and the small blind made the call. From the big blind Justin Bonomo pushed for 1,825 more. Spinella folded but after a little bit of thinking, the small blind decided to call. Bonomo showed his {Ac]{7-Spades} and Spinella snap said he folded {A-}{6-}. Bad news was coming though as the small blind showed {9-Hearts}{9-Clubs}.

The flop ({2-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}{4-Spades}), turn ({J-Diamonds}) and river ({J-Hearts}) were no help for Bonomo who wished the table all the best of luck and left for the exit.

Serock Losing Ground

Level 3 : 50/100, 0 ante

A middle position player limped into the pot and action folded to the blinds. Joe Serock completed his small blind and the big blind checked.

A flop of {j-Spades}{7-Hearts}{10-Spades} brought a bet of 275 from Serock. The big blind raised to 625 causing the middle position player to fold while Serock called the raise.

Serock checked the {10-Diamonds} turn and the big blind bet 725. After counting his chips and thinking it through, Serock opted for the fold.

Polychronopoulos Loses a Big One

Level 4 : 75/150, 0 ante

We just saw Athanasios Polychronopoulos checking on a {3-Hearts}{K-Diamonds}{9-Hearts} flop and his opponent bet out 600. Polychronopoulos already made the call but was acting out of turn with that move as there was another player involved in the pot who hand't made his decision yet. That player eventually folded and Polychronopoulos put in the 600 again he had already committed.

The {4-Diamonds} fell on the turn and Polychronopoulos check-called a 1,300 bet. The river was the {5-Clubs} and Polychronopoulos checked again. His opponent bet 2,000 and with just 4,075 left behind, Polychronopoulos had a big decision. He made the call after some tanking but had to muck as soon as his opponent showed his {K-Hearts}{Q-Clubs}.
