Alioto Doubles Through Hurey

Level 21

Pot-Limit Omaha

Michael Hurey opened to 15,000 from the cutoff, and Dario Alioto potted from the button.

"Alright, let's do this," Hurey said, sliding out a stack of pink T5,000 chips to indicate a reraise. Alioto called off.

Hurey: {k-Clubs}{q-Diamonds}{10-Hearts}{q-Clubs}
Alioto: {a-Diamonds}{a-Clubs}{k-Spades}{8-Clubs}

The flop brought {9-Diamonds}{3-Spades}{5-Hearts}, and the turn and river were {2-Hearts} and {5-Diamonds}. All the babies on board meant the aces stood, and Hurey was forced to double Alioto up.

Wattel Doubles in Limit Hold'em

Level 21

Limit Hold'em

Mike Wattel raised the cutoff and it folded to Marco Johnson's small blind. He three-bet and it came back around to Wattel. Eventually they capped the action which left Wattel with just 3,500 behind. Johnson bet him all in dark before the flop and Wattel called.

Johnson: {A-Diamonds}{4-Clubs}
Wattel: {J-Spades}{9-Diamonds}

Wattel found top pair on the {9-Clubs}{8-Hearts}{4-Spades} flop and was able to dodge Johnson making two pair or trips as the {3-Clubs} turned and the {7-Spades} rivered. Wattel was able to double to about 80,000.

Stud

Chris Reslock fired out on fourth street after he, Dario Alioto and Eric Crain each put in four bets initially. Reslock had a king-ace, Crain had a jack-queen, and Alioto had a deuce-four. Alioto raised and Crain called, as did Reslock.

Fifth street brought a five for Alioto, an eight for Crain, and a ten for Reslock. Crain took the lead, betting the final three streets, and both players called down until Alioto mucked after all the cards.

Crain: {10-Spades}{6-Spades}{3-Hearts}/{j-Clubs}{q-Clubs}{8-Spades}{9-Diamonds}
Reslock: {x-}{x-}{x-}/{k-Hearts}{a-Spades}{10-Clubs}{7-Hearts}
Alioto: {x-}{x-}{x-}/{2-Hearts}{4-Clubs}{5-Spades}{q-Hearts}

Crain dragged the massive pot with his straight.

Plenty of Extras Being Given Away at This Year's WSOP

Level 20

The buzz inside the walls of the Rio extends beyond just the tournaments on the 2013 World Series of Poker schedule. Online poker in Nevada is a very, very hot topic right now, and WSOP.com is making a lot of noise.

While the site has yet to launch, you can head to the Lambada Room of the Rio or look for one of the beautiful and friendly WSOP.com ladies walking the hallways to sign up for a free, personal WSOP.com online poker account. This is a great way to get a jump on the site's registration, and plenty of people have already taken this opportunity.

What's more is that the WSOP will be hosting daily raffles for everyone that has taken the time to register for WSOP.com at the Rio. What can you win? Plenty of fantastic prizes including 36 WSOP seats!

Players 21 years of age and older who sign up for a WSOP.com account will automatically be entered into the “36-Seat Giveaway” where a randomly-selected winner will win a seat into the next day’s first WSOP gold bracelet event. One of the events eligible in this promotion is the $111,111 One Drop High Roller No-Limit Hold’em tournament that is expected to feature a $10,000,000 prize pool and allow you to play poker with the biggest names in the game. In total, $182,333 in WSOP seats, including a seat to the WSOP Main Event, are being given away during this one-of-a-kind WSOP.com promotion.

In addition to the 36-Seat Giveaway, a “Hot Seat” promotion will allow any player who signs up for a WSOP.com online account and wears their WSOP.com patch on their chest at the table while playing an event to be randomly selected to receive 500 bonus dollars deposited directly into their WSOP.com online account once the site has received all regulatory approvals and launches.

With 62 WSOP gold bracelet events and three winners promised for the Main Event, this promotion includes $32,000 worth of value to those participating.
