DeMaci Tank Calls

Level 3 : 100/200, 0 ante

With over 7,000 chips in the pot, Chris DeMaci's opponent put the pressure on him. On the {5-Hearts}{9-Hearts}{2-Clubs}{6-Clubs}{6-Spades} board, the player bet 2,775 chips. DeMaci went deep into the tank and sat almost motionless thinking through the hand. After nearly 2 minutes in the tank, DeMaci called.

"Do you have fives?" DeMaci asked as his opponent turned over {5-Spades}{5-Clubs}. "Yep," he said as he mucked his cards. "That's the only thing you can call on the turn with."

With that hand DeMaci dropped under starting stack.

Katchalov Gets Value From Tens

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

On a board reading {9-Diamonds}{9-Hearts}{5-Diamonds}{k-Spades}{4-Diamonds} Eugene Katchalov made a bet of 2,500 into a pot of 3,650 after his opponent checked. After a couple minutes in the tank his opponent called and Katchalov flashed him the {10-Hearts}{10-Diamonds}. His opponent mucked.

"Are you folding if I bet the river?" his opponent said.

Katchalov just shook his head as he raked in the chips.

Ivey Calls Some Off

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Preflop a player in the cutoff raised to 250. Only Phil Ivey called in the small blind. On the {A-Hearts}{K-Hearts}{3-Diamonds} board Ivey checked, and the other player checked as well.

The turn was the {7-Diamonds} and this time Ivey check called a bet of 400 from the player.

The river fell the {2-Spades} and once again Ivey checked called a bet, this time for 650. The player in the cutoff showed {A-Diamonds}{4-Spades} and Ivey mucked his hand.

Campanello Quads Up

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

We didn't catch the entire hand but we saw sick board walking by one of the tables. Apparently Bryan Campanello rivered quads against Scott Abrams' top set.

Abrams was holding {K-}{K-} and Campanello was holding {6-}{6-} with the board reading {2-}{k-}{6-}{10-}{6-}.

Campanello is off to a hot start at his table now and has just about 16,500 chips.

Huy Wins a Three-Bet Pot

Level 2 : 50/100, 0 ante

Preflop from middle position, Huy Nguyen raised to 250. He was called by one player in the hijack seat. On the button, Matt Glantz reraised to 700. Both Nguyen and the other player called.

The flop came down {9-Diamonds}{8-Clubs}{5-Clubs} and all three players checked. On the {3-Diamonds} turn, all three players checked again. The river was the {10-Clubs} and for a third time all three players checked.

Nguyen showed {4-Hearts}{4-Clubs} and it was good enough to scoop the pot.
